My Philosophy

A Gentle, Experienced, Knowledgeable Chiropractor

Karyn graduated cum laude (with honors) from New York Chiropractic College in 2000 with a doctorate in chiropractic. Karyn practiced in a holistic, family-oriented practice in Connecticut for eight years before moving to New Zealand. Her emphasis is on allowing the body to function optimally through chiropractic care, nutrition and exercise. Having been in practice for over 20 years, she is an experienced lecturer on topics including stress prevention, nutrition, and office ergonomics.

"I have always wondered why we all wait until we are hurt or sick to take care of our bodies!

Why do we wait until it is broken down? Why not take care of ourselves through nurturing a healthy lifestyle, proper body movement, good nutrition? We maintain our teeth, our cars, even our homes with routine maintenance… you know, sorting out the little things before they become big problems.

I’m talking about a true focus on HEALTH care, not what we usually do… SICK care. This is the very core of Chiropractic – a natural, holistic look at the whole body to promote balance, optimal health, and full potential. What a wonderful way to look at things!

I decided it was my calling to lead others to this understanding of health and wellness. It has been my passion ever since."

More about Renee

“Renee is originally from a small farming community in the Waikato…. Her family has been dairy farmers for many generations. She now lives in Selwyn with her husband and dog. Outside the office, Renee enjoys the outdoors, cooking, art and playing guitar.”

“I am passionate about educating and helping the local community, especially with helping them enjoy the best health and physical wellbeing that they can. I like to work with people rather than on them to help them achieve their lifestyle/wellness goals; not just wait until they are “broken” to get help. I want to see people reach their body’s full potential"
